In 2010, Daryl, Ray, and Hank Della, marking his scriptwriting debut for Dollars & Donuts Productions, attempted a bold step towards a more serious filmmaking venture. However, the film's aspirations couldn't outshine the off-screen drama when Lorenzo, cast as the killer, behaved inappropriately towards co-star Kristin Mayer during a critical scene, leading to the project’s abrupt halt. Despite months of preparation, including Lorenzo's dramatic transformation involving a haphazard haircut that left him without eyebrows, his unprofessional conduct ensured his character's menacing reveal never saw the light of day. What was meant to be a shift towards a darker narrative ended up as a reminder that sometimes the scariest horrors happen behind the camera.
