Still Walking

Danny's journey to shuffle off his mortal coil is thwarted by life's mundane distractions—from a last-minute IHOP indulgence to unwashed dishes. As each attempt unravels, Danny finds that escaping mediocrity is harder than anticipated, especially when life keeps insisting on one more rerun.

In Still Walking, the Dollars & Donuts crew unleashed a whirlwind of dark comedy, shooting the entire film in just one day, based on the inner ramblings found in Lorenzo’s personal diary. The film draws its unique aesthetic inspiration from the moody, minimalist style of Lorde's "Royals" music video, giving it a stark, compelling look that perfectly complements the film's thematic depth.

Amidst this brooding atmosphere, a divine intervention took the stage. At the climax, as Lorenzo's character, Danny, teeters on the edge of existential despair (and a very real bridge), the heavens above performed their own dramatic flair. A bolt of lightning struck, perfectly timed and framed, as if God Himself was giving a not-so-subtle nod to Danny's turmoil. This serendipitous moment wasn’t just a stroke of luck—it was a celestial wink, a spectacular reminder of the serendipitous magic that seems to follow Dollars & Donuts around like a faithful yet slightly unhinged sidekick.

"Every time I try to end it, something comes up...”
